This is a highly visible spot right on Route 1 in Wells, and is part of a bigger complex that includes a human maze and go-karts. The course itself is a mix of older and newer holes, suggesting at one time this had 18 holes and has been expanded to 36. The holes overall are not too difficult, and there are ample places where aces are possible. The biggest challenge here was figuring out speed, since many carpets had been replaced, but not all of them, leaving the speeds on each hole varying. You can tell the course has been used quite a bit, and there are some places were the edges and rocks need to be repaired. But you can also tell they are in the middle of doing this, and I would bet it will be done by the time we head back. Aesthetically the course is pleasing. Up a mountain, through a mountain, past some flowing water... great layout and they did well to incorporate the holes into the terrain. We would love to see the renovations here complete, but this is still a very fun stop. Highly recommend.
