The name of this
place implies that the miniature golf is the center of the attractions at this
facility but in reality it’s one of many things going on. This place is a combination of an
entertainment center (lots of games for kids), a pizza place (the pizza was
quite good) and this 11 hole miniature golf course. This mix means there is a lot of activity
happening all at once (especially on a day when the weather outside might not
be that good). The creativity at the
course was very high. It’s a “trip
around the world” themed course and some of the holes were definitely
unique. We had never seen a Grand Canyon
hole where you actually put in the canyon and the giant Mount Rushmore and
Stonehenge were quite impressive. The
ski jump hole was also a different take on the long, steep putt and it was
quite fun to play a few different times.
There was a fair
amount that needed attention on the course though. Most of the holes could benefit from two or
three days work of repairs (fixing some of the obstacles as well as some major
work needed on the carpets) and a coat of paint or two. Part of why this may be is that the course
itself is not supervised (you pay at the desk and course winds its way toward
the back of the center, with walls blocking any view by the staff), which means
the kids can get rambunctious.
Overall we would
recommend that you play this course if you happen to be in the Burlington area
(it’s a nice place for some putting and pizza on a winter’s day if you are
coming back from a ski trip). You can’t beat the price and their website has
several coupons (we played 2 for 1, so for $5 for two people all you can play
if quite reasonable).
