We visited this course on a rather rainy day but it was open
and we had exclusive run of the course.
While the course is located in somewhat of a barren landscape (very open
driving range, long parking lot and some construction materials on top of a
hill) the course itself is in pleasant condition. The holes are generally short and relatively
easy but they had a good variety in terms of the types of shots needed. The carpets were in good condition and the
bricks were excellent for making precise bank shots. The course rolled over a small hill and the
course design made good use of the hill, having the holes run up and down the
slopes (and not just making you walk up and down stairs to get over a
hill). While there was no water
incorporated into the holes there was water at the course and it looked pretty
clean.
There were a couple of drawbacks to the course though. The course uses rubber head putter and the
cups in several cases seemed a little shallow.
In addition there was not a clearly defined “starting area” for each of
the hole but that is easily overcome by an agreement between the players. Finally, the 18th hole could use
some signage. There are three different
“holes” and we assumed that they should have different values for your scores
but didn’t see anything posted at the hole.
We made up our own but some guidance would be nice for those of us who
are serious about our minigolf!
This is not a “rush out and play” course but given the lack
of miniature golf in the area (especially after the loss of Fiddlesticks and
Golf Central recently closing) it’s definitely a good one to play if you are
looking to get your putting fix.

This course just opened
in May of 2010, and needs some finishing touches like landscaping, to improve
the atmosphere. It is a fairly easy
course, and we each scored a 2 or 3 on most holes with 2 aces. Most of the obstacles were strategically
placed bumps in the green. No bunkers, no ruff, no water traps. Nothing to excite, but since it is new, we'll
give it another go next summer, to see if we feel the same.
