My friends and I are avid mini-golfers and have been to many
courses in CT, so we had to go mini golfing while on vacation in Rhode Island. We were
pleasantly surprised to find a hidden gem in the area. It does look a little
plain and dumpy from the road, and some of the obstacles like the boat or the
rock swirl could use a touch up. However, this course is simply a lot of fun,
even though it can be very difficult at times. It is a full 18
hole course with a lot of par 3's and the last course being a par 4. The
courses are well maintained and have many jumps over sand traps and an
artificial river. It also incorporates a fun local beach theme to most of the
courses, such as a lighthouse instead of a windmill, a lifeguard chair, a giant
clam in the water trap, etc. It is located literally next door to other fun
activities, like Misquamicut's public beaches, a water slide park, arcade, and
carnival style amusement park rides (ie, bumper cars,
old style merry go round, and other small rides), as well as the facility
having its own batting cages, go-carts, and bumper boats. All in all, if you
are vacationing nearby, or live in the area, I strongly suggest giving this
course a go!

I
love the ocean so this course being next to the ocean gets a 10
atmosphere score by default. The 10 difficulty
score is a different story. This facility removed their bumper boat attraction
due to COVID restrictions and used the space to expand the mini golf. Great
idea in theory but some of the mini golf holes were lengthened in such a way
that they require 4 or 5 shots. There was one hole where it was impossible to
put the ball in the cup. The obstacles are creative & fit in with the area
with a nautical theme so hopefully the angles and placement of the cups can be
refined for future seasons.
